41 arrested in Dinajpur

DINAJPUR: Police, in special drives from Monday night to yesterday morning, arrested 41 persons including five alleged drug traders and recovered 550 liters of locally made liquor, 300 bottles of Phensidyl and 900-gram ganja from 12 upazilas of the district, reports BSS.

Police said they were picked up from different areas of the district.

During the drives, Dinajpur Sadar police arrested nine persons including two drug traders with 550 liters of locally made liquor, Khansama Thana police arrested two,

Bochaganj Thana police two, Hakimpur Thana police arrested four persons including two drug traders with 300 bottles Phensidyl, Birampur police arrested four, Ghoraghat police arrested three, Birganj Thana police arrested five persons including one drug trader with 900-gram ganja, Phulbari Thana police arrested two, Parbatipur Thana police two, Biral Thana police arrested three persons, Kaharole Thana police arrested three persons and Nawabganj Thana police arrested two accused.
