Bangladesh face must win game today

Bangladesh will face the hosts Bhutan in a must win game in the ongoing SAFF Under-18 championship at the Changlmithang Stadium, Bhutan.

After suffering the defeat 2-1 in the third match against Nepal on Monday it left no options for Bangladesh but to win the last match against Bhutan, which is undoubtedly a tough job.  

However, the last match for all four teams turned into final encounter as the  title is wide open for all.  

Bangladesh, who went down Nepal in their third match, which was very important for them to make it 90 percent to ensure of winning the title but despite playing better football for throughout 90 minutes time could not win.  

In the eventful match, Bangladesh conceded goal on 30th minutes after giving missing trial and leveled it after two minutes but they could go clear ahead inside 20 minutes of the game, as the first one was Al Amin’s effort was saved on goalline, second Shupil’s placing beat keeper but narrowly missed the side post and third one Rahmat’s freekick shattered the side post.

The third effort was seemingly a goal as the Rahmat’s free kick hit inside the post and finally the sorrows of Bangladesh compounded when Biswajit saw red card for an unnecessary foul inside eight minutes of the second half but Bangladesh still played better with ten-men, though conceded another bad goal.
