Homemade weapons seized from CU hall

The authorities of Chittagong University (CU) yesterday seized 25 'Ramda', 30 pipes, one sack of stones and one kilogram hemp after raiding its dormitory.

The authorities led by Md Ali Asgor Chowdhury, proctor of CU along with assistant proctors raided the Shaheed Abdur Rab Hall at around  2pm.

Assistant proctor Liton Mitra said as a part of our regular drive, we raided the hall and seized 25 'Ramda', 30 pipes, one sack of stones and one kilogram hemp. This time, we also found there some date expired university ID cards.

Akhteruzzaman, in charge of CU police outpost said no one was found during the drive. Four rooms have been locked.
