Apurba, Mehazabein pair up again under Aryan’s direction

Mizanur Rahman Aryan-directed ‘Boro Chhele’, a telefilm starring Ziaul Faruq Apurba and Mehazabein Chowdhury in the lead roles, was an instant hit on the small screen during last Eid-ul-Azha. The telefilm, which has been admired immensely by the viewers, has received 8 million views on YouTube till now. DhakaLive has news that the same director is making yet another special tele-drama bringing Apurba and Mehazabein in one frame again on the occasion of next Valentine’s Day.

Meanwhile, the shooting of the tele-drama titled ‘Astha’ has already been completed after filming at various shooting houses and locations in the capital from September 23 to 25. The story of the tele-drama is written by Aryan himself.

In the tele-drama, Apurba has played as Riad, while Mehazabein has enacted the role of Mim. Moreover, Mousumi Hamid, Ishana and Irin Afrose will be seen appearing in the special characters.

Apurba said about working opposite Mehazabein again with the same director, “I have been working regularly under the direction of Aryan since last few years. Besides, this is not the matter that I am working again with Mehazabein following the success of ‘Boro Chhele’. Rather, I am acting with Mehazabein in Aryan’s direction as a part of my usual line of work. But this is true that the viewers want us to appear in a new tele-drama or telefilm.”

“The thing is not that our new tele-drama would make the audience cry like ‘Boro Chhele’. This is a tele-drama of new thought, a different type of tele-drama”, he added.

Mehazabein said about acting in ‘Astha’, “The story idea of the tele-drama contains uniqueness. I have done the work very cordially what I do always. I hope the story and our performance in this tele-drama will fascinate the viewers.”

‘Astha’ will be aired on a satellite TV channel on the Valentine’s Day next year.
