A series of acrobatic shows, by a Chinese troupe-- consisting nine members and a trained acrobatic troupe of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), has begun yesterday in the capital. Ministry of Cultural Affairs of China, Chinese Embassy in Bangladesh, Ministry of Cultural Affairs of Bangladesh and BSA have jointly organised the series show for the local audiences. The first acrobatic show of the series took place at the Chinese Embassy in Dhaka yesterday evening.
The acrobats will also present shows at Motijheel Government Girls School, BAF Shahin College today at 11 am and 4 pm respectively, while the last show of the troupes will be held tomorrow at 7pm at National Theatre Hall of BSA. Director of Foreign Student Office of Beijing International Arts School (Beijing Acrobatic School) Pei Jiesi and Acrobatic Teacher Zuo Chaofeng are leading the Chinese troupe while six students and one journalist have also been included in the troupe.
