A Bangladeshi young man was tortured to death by members of Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Dabri border area in Haripur upazila early yesterday. The deceased was identified as Abdur Razzak, 22, son of Abdus Sobhan, a resident of Sarkerbosti in Baliadangi upazila, reports UNB. Nayeb subedar Md Shaheed, company commander of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in Dabri border, said that a patrol team of BSF detained Razzak when he illegally entered in the territory of Indian border area adjacent to sub pillar No 2 and main pillar No 367 of the frontier point early morning. Later, they tortured him, leaving critically injured. He was admitted to Kishanganj Hospital of Dinajpur district in Uttar India where he succumbed to his injuries.
