Substitute Rony struck twice as Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited made an impressive start in the AFC Cup pre-qualifying round with a 4-1 victory over Casa Benfica of Macao after coming from a goal down in Bishkek yesterday.
Sheikh Jamal in their inaugural AFC Cup match after conceding an early goal bounced back with Emeka Darlington levelling the margin on 44th minute, according to BFF sources.
Captain Mamunul and Rony in a span of six minutes netted the next two goals in the 72nd and 78th minutes.
A substitute Rony further increased the lead on 86th minute when he struck his second 4-1.
