Burn victim dies at DMCH

A woman, who sustained burn injuries in a ‘mysterious explosion’ in the capital’s Central Road in Kalabagan area on August 8, died at Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) in the capital early yesterday, reports UNB. The deceased was identified as Panna Akhter, 28. Panna Akhter, who received 95 per cent burn injuries, died at the burn unit of DMCH around 3am, said Inspector Mozammel, in-charge of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) police camp
Earlier on August 8, three people including Panna sustained burn injuries in an explosion from an unknown source on the fifth floor of a six-storey building in Central Road area around 8 am.
