Russian State Atomic Energy Corporation ROSATOM is going to host a four-day science festival titled ‘InFact’ from today here with a view to raising awareness on nuclear, reports BSS.
The festival will kick off at 10:30 am through a ceremony at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheatre in the capital, said a press release issued in Dhaka yesterday. The main objective of the festival is to raise awareness among the young generation of the country about nuclear field and to promote science as well as technology, the release said.
The festival features lecture sessions with the participation of Russian and Bangladeshi experts, demonstration of documentary films, interactive sessions, intellectual games and popular science talk shows.
The festival will also take place at different venues - Jahangirnagar University on September 25, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheatre and University of Dhaka on September 26, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Russian Centre of Science and Culture on September 27 and Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Novotheatre on September 28, 2017.
