More than 4,00,000 Rohingyas took shelters in Bangladesh since August 25 in the wake of brazen atrocities, burning, killing and raping of Rohingyas Muslim minority people by Myanmar Army and local Buddhists.
The government of Bangladesh and its people extended their helping hands to these oppressed Rohingyas. Sports personality also come forward to their assistance.
Bangladesh iconic all-rounder and UNICEF’s national goodwill ambassador Shakib Al Hasan stands by them.
The all-rounder of late went to Ukhiya in Cox’s Bazar with UNICEF, where he visited in different Rohingya camps and witnessed the sorry states of the oppressed people.
He talked with them and heard their heart-rending story from them. Thereafter, Shakib in his verified facebook page urged all the people of the country to help them after the end of his visit to Rohingya camps.
“I’m now at Rohingya camp. I’ve come here with UNICEF. I move round the camp and witnessed their distressed states,” said Shakib Al Hasan.
“I seek all of your cooperation. I know the aids are coming from different countries. Bangladesh also tried their maximum best for them. They needed more aids as the number of children and women among Rohingya refugees are many in the camp who need your support,” Shakib said.
“I’m sure you will support them. Please come forward and donate. For the aid of the Rohingya refugees, please visit the website of https:// unicefbangladesh.org and click ‘Donate Now’,” he added.
