Yu Guopeng

On August 1, the First Yunnan Famous and Special Snacks and Ethnic Food Culture Festival was held in Yulong County, Lijiang City. A total of 96 representative snack companies set up 110 booths, attracting tens of thousands of tourists.

The festival covered delicacies from all ethnic groups in Yunnan. They included items such as flower series snacks, Bai rice cakes, Dai snacks, fried sour banana, flower and sticky rice cakes.

As verified by attending notaries, two Shanghai Great World Guinness Records were established during the event, namely the 888 Lijiang Baba (pancakes) as “the Largest Number of Lijiang Baba Steamed at one Time” and the 88.8-metre Lijiang Juanjuan (roll) as “the Longest Lijiang Juanjuan” (modelled at a time).
