The condition of Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) Mayor Annisul Huq is gradually improving although he is still in the intensive care unit (ICU) of a London hospital, reports UNB. "He (Annisul) sometimes opens and closes his eyes as well as moves some parts of his body," said his personal secretary Mizanur Rahman. Physicians expressed the hope that the mayor will recover soon, he said. Annisul, who had been suffering from neurological problem (dizziness and lack of balance) for the last several months, was admitted to the neurology hospital in London on August 13. He was then diagnosed with cerebral vasculitis at the hospital.
