Skin whitening injection seized at Dhaka airport

Customs intelligence personnel yesterday seized 224 vials of contraband skin whitening injections from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in the capital, reports BSS.

Director General (DG) of customs intelligence Dr Mainul Khan confirmed the incident saying that they seized three consignments of contraband skin whitening injections worth about Taka 5 lakh from the airport.

The injections, which have been brought to Dhaka by a flight of MH-0112 of an airline from Malaysia by Tam Peng Seng, no-47, Jalan Putri Jaya 12, Taman Putri Jaya 43200 Cheras Selangor Malaysia to Khondoker Farugue Ahmed, 265/3, Middle Pirebag Mirpur, Dhaka-1216, he added.
