Thai Food Festival at Westin Dhaka from today

‘Exotic Thailand’—a weeklong Thai Food Festival is set to begin today at Seasonal Tastes, the buffet restaurant of The Westin Dhaka in the capital. Presented by The Westin Dhaka, Thai food lovers can come and taste palatable Thai delicacies at the festival till September 28, says a press release.

Guest Chef Nakorn Bududon from Sheraton Hua Hin Resort & Pranburi Villas Thailand will delight the guests with his culinary art.

A press conference and the food tasting event for the festival were held yesterday at Silver Room of The Westin Dhaka. Stephen Mcgarrie (Executive Chef, The Westin Dhaka), Faqueer Salahuddin (General Manager, The Westin Dhaka), Shakawath Hossain (Resident Manager, The Westin Dhaka), Md Al-Amin (Director of Sales & Marketing, The Westin Dhaka) and Khorshed Alam (F&B Service Manager, The Westin Dhaka) were present to address the media.

The weeklong food festival will feature authentic cuisine from different parts of Thailand. Flavourful Som Tum, Yum Nua, Tom Yum Gung and many other palatable culinary arts will treat the guests at the Thai buffet spread. Starting from starters to soups to main courses to desserts, the food festival will highlight many luscious Thai dishes to all the guests attending it.

The food festival is a dinner only event and the buffet dinner is priced at BDT 5000 Net per person. Special B1G1 offers will be available for the customers of GP STAR, Robi Ace, Standard Chartered Bank, BRAC Bank, Southeast Bank, NCC Bank, Prime Bank Ltd. and Eastern Bank Ltd.
