Theatre Art Unit stages Morshokam at BSA today

Theatre Art Unit is going to stage yet another show of its new play titled Morshokam today evening at the National Theatre Hall of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA), Segun Bagicha in the capital.
Written by Mahin Eka, the playwhich is the 19th production of the troupe has been directed by Rokeya Rafiq Baby. The play has already become a subject of the discussion as the writer and director are the mother and daughter.
The playwright informed that Morshokam is a three-act play. The play has been written based on the foreign policy of the most powerful superpower in the current political scene of the world. This is the foreign policy that by which the political future of all the repressed countries has been controlled since decades. It is not that no revolution or protest has been taking place against this foreign policy. Rather, the protest is underway and it will be continued in the future. But the conspiracy theory of this policy devours all discourses of the revolution.
Director Rokeya Rafiq informed that the play is a collage of three separate parallel Acts. The cast of the play includes Mehmud Siddique, Nuruzzaman Babu, Mahfuz Sumon, SR Sampad, Sajal Chowdhury, Selim Mehbub, Swadhin Shah, Riaz Hossain, Jaman, Mohammad Bari, Chandan Reza, Ferdous Amin, Piar Mohammad, Rakib, Zayed Hossain, Majidul Mithu, Sonia Nasrin, Suchi Chowdhury, Sumon Akand, Akash Modak, Abir Saem and Farhana Akter.
