Aid for Rohingyas

Chittagong City Red Crescent Unit has come forward to help the people from Rakhine State of Myanmar. Taka 3,70,000 was handed over to the National Headquarters of the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society from Chittagong City Unit as a part of humanitarian assistance, says a press release.

Treasurer of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society Advocate Tauhidur Rahman received the cheque of donations at the chairman's office on Tuesday.

Executive Committee Member of Chittagong City Unit HM Salahuddin handed over the cheque. S.M Ahmad, Director of Youth and Volunteer Department of Bangladesh Red Crescent Society, Social worker Muntasir Mamun and Mrs Kashfia Kamal were also present on the occasion.
