Half-day Long Training on Compliance at Eastern University
In association with Bangladesh Society for Human Resources Management (BSHRM), Eastern University (EU) Career Services and International Office (CSIO) recently organised a half-day long training on How to Practice Compliance in Organization- Especially in RMG in EU Seminar Hall. The session was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor of EU, Professor Dr. Abdur Rab ,and conducted by Md. Kamruzzaman, EC Member Fellow, BSHRM and General Manager (HR Admin), PALMAL Group.
Mohammad Nazrul Islam, Head of HR and Admin, Corporate Human Resources, Rangs Group, presented the presidential address for BSHRM; Abu Hena MD Rasel, Head of Career Services and International Office, Eastern University; Abul Hashem Mozumder, Monira Akter, Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun, EC members of BSHRM, and more than one hundred twenty other personnel of HR community from renowned institutions attended in this session. Among others, two faculty members from Faculty of Business, six HRM major students (BBA MBA) and HR officers of Eastern University got the opportunity to participate in the training. It was a great scope of meeting with a number of 100 senior and experienced HR professionals from various institutions.
The training focused on aspects of compliance in different organization unit, especially in ever growing readymade garments in Bangladesh, relations between compliance and the unique context and needs of leading and growing a strategic human resources function. Joining in this program, participants were able to explore and enhance their self-awareness, scopes and practice compliance in RMG.
The session was concluded by awarding certificates in favour of BSHRM for the successful participants and honorable guests were awarded crest. As an active partner organization Eastern University enriched its goodwill as well as brand recognition through this initiative in the HR community among renowned institutions of Bangladesh.
