Bangladesh began their practice session in Benoni, South Africa to prepare them for the only practice match ahead of the two-match Test series. The three-day practice match starts on September 21.
It will unarguably be the toughest tour for Bangladesh as they never could avoid even an innings defeat against the Proteas in their own den. Bangladesh played just four matches against them and all of them they lost in an innings margin.
However the players are now determined to resist the history to repeat even though they are without the star player Shakib Al Hasan who last time grabbed a five-for in 2008 tour. Shakib will join the side in ODI and T20 series.
The first Test is from September 28 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom while the second is from October 2 at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein before Bangladesh play a three-day warm game against Cricket South Africa Invitation XI at Willowmoore Park, Benoni from September 21.
