4 robbers held with firearm

Detective Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police arrested four alleged robbers along with firearms and ammunition from Sobujbagh area of the capital on Tuesday night. The arrested were Abdur Razzak alias Pagla Razzak, Shahidul Islam, Shoriful Islam and Raju Dash. Deputy Police Commissioner Muntasirul Islam, said getting secret information, a team of DB, led by Assistant Commissioner Md Sninghdo Sarker, raided in the area around 11:40pm.
Later, the robbers were arrested while preparing robbery, he added. The DB team also seized one revolver, three rounds of bullets, five sharp weapons from their possession. During the primary interrogation, they admitted that they were involved in robberies in the city for long times. A case was filed and they were produced before a court.
