Two ‘yaba peddlers’ held in Ctg

Chittagong: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) yesterday arrested two people along with 10,000 pieces of yellow yaba tablets from Sadar Ghat area in Chittagong.

The arrestee was identified as Md. Saiful islam Shakil, 27 and Mahiuddin, 24.

On information, a team of Rab-7 led by Deputy Commander Squadron Leader Safayet Jamil Fahim, raided Sadar Ghat area on yesterday morning and arrested Md. Saiful islam Shakil and Mahiuddin along with 10,000 pieces of yellow yaba tablets.

Rab-7 Senior Assistant Superintendent of Police Mimtanur Rahman said, “We nabbed them while they are escaping. Later, we seized yaba after searching their body.”
