The admission test (general knowledge) of Fine Arts Faculty under Cha-Unit for entry into first-year honours for the session 2017-2018 of the University of Dhaka was held on Saturday, reports UNB.
A total of 13,472 candidates appeared at the admission test against 135 seats under the unit held at 11 centres on the campus.
Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman, acting Vice-chancellor (VC) of Dhaka University, Prof Dr Md Kamal Uddin, Treasurer of the university, Professor Nisar Hossian, Dean of the faculty of Fine Arts and also coordinator of Cha Unit Admission test, M Amzad Ali, Acting Proctor of DU, senior teachers and officers of the university visited the examination halls, said a press release.
Earlier on Friday, the written test for admission into first-year honours for the session 2017-2018 under Ga-Unit of the university was held. Admission tests under “Kha-Unit” will be held on September 22 while admission tests for drawing under “Cha-Unit” are scheduled to be held on September 23.
“Ka-Unit” admission tests will be held on October 13 and “Gha-Unit” (combined unit) tests for science, business studies and humanities group students will be held on October 20.
