State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid yesterday urged the public and private enterprises in Indonesia to invest in Bangladesh, said an official release in the capital yesterday, reports BSS. “Bangladesh has a better environment now for foreign investments ...All the foreign invests are protected by the national security,” said the state minster while signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Indonesia in its capital Jakarta to increase energy cooperation. MoU was signed following a recent visit by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to Indonesia and her bilateral meeting with Indonesian President Joko Widodo. Nasrul Hamid said the area of the mutual cooperation between the two countries has increased after the prime minister’s visit.
