Minor boy killed in Ctg road accident

A minor boy was killed in a road accident in city's Cinema Palace area yesterday morning, reports BSS. The deceased was identified as Mojammel Hossain, 2, son of Billal Hossain, hailing from Mymensingh. Police and eyewitness sources said the accident occurred when a speedy truck knocked a rickshaw in the area, leaving Mojammel critically injured as he fell down from his mother's arms who was onboard the rickshaw. He was rushed to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) where attending doctors declared him dead, said Aktar Hossain, a sub-inspector (SI) of Kotowali Police Station. Police detained the truck and nabbed its driver.
