Liquor seized; 1 held in Ctg

Police in a drive arrested a ‘liquor trader’ and seized 120 litres of liquor from Burirchar area of Hathazari upazila of Chittagong district on Wednesday night.

The arrestee was identified as Md Hasan (45), son of Ahmod Mia. He is a local resident.

In a special drive we nabbed him along with 120 litter’s liquor from Burirchar area of Hathazari upazila of the district.

He is a local liquor trader,” said Md. Nuruzzaman, assistant sub-inspector (ASI) of Hathazari Police Station.
