Tonima Hamid works as model after 16 years

Popular actress-model Tonima Hamid recently appeared as a model for a multinational company and modeled for a Canton Soup commercial, directed by Rony Bhoumik. DhakaLive has news that the shooting of the commercial has been completed last Saturday in Coke Studio in the capital’s Tejgaon area. This is the first time she appeared as a model after 16 long years.
Tonima Hamid, who stayed away from working in commercials for more than a decade, finally agreed to resume after such a long time, after being inspired by Rony Bhoumik. She shared her thoughts, “I worked in this soup commercial after several requests from the director Rony Bhoumik. He has given his utmost to present me in the best possible manner. That is why I am very hopeful about this commercial.”  The commercial will soon be aired in all the channels.
She appeared as a model for a Lychee Drinks commercial 16 years ago, directed by Masum Aziz. She is currently working as a lecturer in the Social Relations department of the capital’s East West University.
Recently, the actress worked in the drama serial ‘Swapner Irabati’, directed by her mother Falguni Hamid. The main story theme of the drama serial stems from Tonima Hamid’s own ideas. The drama serial will soon start airing on ATN Bangla.
