President returns home from Kazakhstan

President Abdul Hamid returned home yesterday night after attending 1st OIC Summit on Science and Technology in Astana, Kazakhstan.

The President, along with his entourage, arrived at VVIP lounge of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 10:05 pm, reports UNB.

On his arrival, the President was received by Finance Minister AMA Muhith, Agriculture Minister Matia Chowdhury, dean of diplomatic corps, cabinet secretary, chiefs of three Services, principal secretary to Prime Minister, IGP and senior civil and military officials.

Earlier, Bangladesh ambassador to Uzbekistan Mosud Mannan saw of the president off at Astana Nursultan Nazarbayev International Airport at 5 pm.
