IMMSAREX in November

IONS Multilateral Maritime Search & Rescue Exercise (IMMSAREX) 2017; a sea based exercise, will be held in November under the overall arrangement of Bangladesh Navy with the participation on Indian Ocean Littorals, says an ISPR press release.

For the smooth conduct of upcoming Sea Exercise an Initial Planning Conference (IPC) is being held in Dhaka participated by representatives from 14 IONS Nations including Bangladesh, Australia, France, China, India, Oman, UAE and Russia. Assistant Chief of Naval Staff (Operations) Rear Admiral M Makbul Hossain, (TAS), OSP, BCGMS, ndu, psc has inaugurated the event yesterday at Shagorika Hall, Naval Headquarter complex. A workshop on “Maritime Search and Rescue” was also held in this connection.
