Khaleda’s appearance in 11 cases on Oct 15

A Dhaka court today set October 15 for BNP chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia to appear in 11 cases filed including one over sedition, reports BSS.

“Judge Hafizur Rahman of Dhaka metropolitan session judge court passed the order yesterday morning,” a court official said. Yesterday was fixed for Khaleda’s appearance before the court, but the lawyers of the BNP chief pleaded for time, saying High Court has imposed stay on proceedings of the most cases. Of the 11 cases, earlier the court fixed yesterday to hold hearing on charge framing in 10 cases and setting date.
