National Junior TT champions to begin Thursday

South Bangle Agriculture and Commerce Bank fourth National Junior (Under-18 boys and girls) Table Tennis Championship will begin from tomorrow (Thursday) at the Shahid Tajuddin wooden Floor Gymnasium.
A total of 180 players including 45 women from across the country will take part in the fourth edition of the junior national event.
Bangladesh Table Tennis Federation (BTF) will provide the accommodations, foods and conveyance of all players and 29 officials of the teams.
In a press conference regarding the championship, the officials informed that participants will compete in four categories with boys single and doubles, girls singles and doubles.
Finance Minister Abul Mal Abdul Muhit will inaugurate the championship as chief guest tomorrow at 5pm.
Jahangir Alam and Saidul Haque Sadi vice-presidents, Khondokar Hassan Munir, general secretary of the BTF and Mohammed Islam Haque, ABP of the South Bangla Bank, the sponsor company were present in the press conference.
