Mitali Mukherjee in Dhaka to judge young singers

Celebrated Indian singer Mitali Mukherjee is now in Dhaka to attend the popular musical reality show ‘Shera Kantho’ as one of the main judges. The National Film Award recipient and queen of Gazal-famed Indian singer has already arrived in Dhaka on Saturday, and started taking part as a judge in the sixth season of ‘Shera Kantho’ on Channel i from Sunday. Mitali will continue her responsibility of a judge in the show till September 14, she informed.

When asked to know what’s your feeling about becoming a judge in ‘Shera Kantho’ this time, she replied, “When I appeared as a judge in SaReGaMa, three-four boys and girls from Bangladesh participated that time. I found a few of them here again, and I must say they are performing all types of songs beautifully. I am really fascinated. Because those who are in this show, they are participating in the contest with proper understanding of the music as they learn and practice music sincerely. This is really captivating that a sense of attraction for music has been developed in every corner of Bangladesh, and this should be considered as a big matter for music. I am very happy with the opportunity of becoming a judge in ‘Shera Kantho’.”

On the other hand, three prominent musicians of Bangladesh, Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya, Samina Chowdhury and Kumar Bishwajit are also there other main judges of ‘Shera Kantho’.
