Meeting on law and order held

Khulna: A monthly meeting on law and order was held on Sunday at the deputy commissioner's conference room with DC Amin ul Ahsan in the chair, reports BSS.

Chairman of Khulna Zila Parishad Sheikh Harun-ur-Rashid, Khulna Police Super Nizamul Haque Molla, Deputy Police Commissioner of KMP Fazlur Rahman and Khulna Civil Surgeon Dr SM Abdur Razzak, Additional Deputy Magistrate Noor-e-Alam, among others, spoke at the meeting. Government officials, leaders of different professional bodies and journalists attended the meeting.

The DC said all the security measures have been taken to ensure peaceful observation of Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of the Hindu community.
