Nine Rohingyas, including two teenage girls with bullet and stick hit injuries, were admitted to Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) on Saturday night as they managed to cross the border into Bangladesh fleeing the wave of violence unleashed by the Myanmarese army.
They have been identified as Md Hamid Hossain, 32, Md Taher Hossain, 19, Md. Abul Kalam, 35, Shamsul Alam, 36, Rashid Ullah, 25, Mansur Rahman, 24, Karim Ullah, 40, Fatema, 15 and Mst. Aziza, 13. All of them are residents of Maungdaw area in Rakhine State of Myanmar.
Shilbrat Das, Nayek of Chittagong Medical College and Hospital (CMCH) police outpost confirmed their entry and later admission to CMCH. They were undergoing treatment at different wards.
