One killed in Natore road accident

A truck helper was killed and four others were injured as the truck collided head-on with another truck in Garmati area on the Natore-Pabna Highway under Baraigram upazila of the district yesterday, reports BSS.

The deceased was identified as Akhtarul Islam, 45, a resident of Shibganj upazila in Chapainawabganj district.

Officer-in-Charge of Bonpara Highway Police G M Shamsunnur said the accident occurred when a Natore-bound cement-laden truck collided head-on with Pabna- bound another truck in the area at about 6.30 am, leaving the truck helper dead on the spot.
