UGC chief awarded
UGC Chairman Abdul Mannan has been awarded with Certificate of Fellowship by Australian Academy of Business Leadership in recognition of demonstrated contribution to business and social science research, says a press release. Meanwhile, a three-member delegation from British Council (BC) Bangladesh, led by its Director Barbara Wickham, called on UGC Chairman Abdul Mannan at his office in the capital yesterday. Other members of the delegation included Matt Pusey, deputy director, British Council and Towhidur Rahman, head of Higher Education Wing, British Council. Various aspects of higher education including digital library and quality education came up for the discussion.
