Murder accused arrested

Cox's Bazar: Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an accused of double murder case from Jail Gate area of the district town on Friday night, reports UNB.

The arrestee was identified as Shahidullah, 22, son of Abdul Mabud, a resident of Borobil village in Ramu upazila. According to a press release of Rab-7, a team of Rab conducted a drive in the area around 11:45 pm and arrested Shahidullah.

Earlier, on January 17, 2016, two siblings Hasan, 11, and Hossain, 8, sons of Furkan Ali, residents of Borobil village of the upazila, were strangulated to death after being abducted.

Shahidullah was accused in the case filed over the murder, it added.
