3 pharmacies sealed off

A mobile court yesterday sealed off three pharmacies and fined on charge of selling illegal medicine. Led by Executive Magistrate of Chittagong District Administration Ruhul Amin, the mobile court was conducted with the help of Drug Administration, Chittagong and the police at Puratan Girza area under Kotwali police station in the city. “Loknath Homeo Hall, Jagannath Homeo Hall and Sadhana Homeo Hall were sealed off and fined with Tk 10,00 each for selling unauthorised drugs. National Homeo Pharmacy was fined with Tk 2,000 and Banik Pharmacy was fined Tk 10,00 for selling and storing import forbidden drugs, tasty saline and syringe,” said KM Muhsinin Mahbub, Superintendent of Drugs, Drug Administration, Chittagong.
