Tributes paid to Suhrawardy

Bangabandhu Gobeshona Parishad (BGP) yesterday paid rich tribute to the great Bengali leader Huseyn Shaheed Suhrawardy marking his 125th birth anniversary, reports BSS. BGP placed wreaths on the grave of Suhrawardy, one of the great leaders of the sub-continent, at Doyel Chattar near Dhaka University campus in the capital. BGP President Lion M Gani Miah Babul, Vice-President Freedom Fighter M Nurul Islam Talukder, publication Secretary Advocate Khan Chaman-e-Elahi were present, among others. Later, they organised a discussion on the premises adjacent to the grave.
