‘Feluda’ to air on TV
from tomorrow

A new television adaptation based on the famous Satyajit Ray character, Detective Feluda, is going to start tomorrow on Channel i. Presented by Fresh, the first episode titled ‘Sheyal Debota Rahasya’ will be aired tomorrow at 7:50pm. In the series, popular actor Parambrata Chatterjee from Kolkata has played the role of famous Feluda, while Riddhi Sen will be seen as Topse.

Kandy Productions and TOM Creations have received the rights to work on Feluda from Satyajit Ray’s son, Sandeep Ray. The first season of the series will feature four episodes and the rest of the episodes will be made later in phases. The four stories that the episodes will be based on are Sheyal Debota Rahasya, Ghurghutiyar Ghatona, Golokdham Rahasya, and Gangtokey Gondogol.

Veteran actor Tariq Anam Khan, Sharlin Farzana and Shahed from Bangladesh have acted in the different characters in this TV series. Sharlin Farzana has enacted a character named Munmun opposite Parambrata, while Tariq Anam Khan will be seen playing an important role in the first episode of ‘Feluda’.

Parambrata said about working in the fiction, “It feels amazing to act in this fiction of Feluda series. We have tried to do the work wonderfully. Besides, web series is nowadays a very popular format in the international arena. I hope the viewers will like it.”

Sharlin Farzana said, “A TV fiction of Feluda series has been made in Bangladesh for the first time. This is fascinating for me that I have worked in it. I have tried my best to portray the character in an appropriate manner. It’s a new experience for me this Eid.”

To note, the viewers will also be able to watch the Feluda Series in Bioscope platforms in Bangladesh and in Adda Times from outside Bangladesh, after airing on TV channel.
