Yunnan sets up tourist attraction quality alliance

On August 31, the Yunnan Provincial Tourist Attraction Quality Alliance was established in Kunming. This is the first provincial tourism organisation jointly established by tourist attractions and tourism enterprises.

So far, the Yunnan Provincial Tourist Attraction Quality Alliance has assembled 79 member units. All of the members are scenic areas and enterprises that have not registered major service quality complaints in the past three years.

In the future, the alliance will set up a tourist attraction “honesty service fund” of 100 million yuan. It will be used to ensure honest services in scenic areas and protect the legitimate rights and interests of tourists. Moreover, the alliance will build an integrated marketing platform and smart tourism platform, so as to achieve win-win development for the member units and provide tourists with greater travel experience while in Yunnan.
