4th death anniversary tomorrow

To remember Tareque Masud and Mishuk Munier, two brilliant assets of the country who died untimely in a road accident on August 13 in 2011, Federation of Film Societies of Bangladesh (FFSB) and Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) have jointly organised an event of film screening and commemorative discussion tomorrow at National Music and Dance auditorium of BSA.
The event will feature the screening of Tareque Masud’s ‘Runway’ at 4:30pm and his ‘Norsundor’ at 6pm. To member Tareque Masud, Mishuk Munier and other film activists, ‘Mangal Pradeep’ (Candles) will be lit at 6:30pm.
At 6:45pm, the commemorative discussion will be attended by FFSB President Lailun Nahar, pioneer filmmaker Morshedul Islam, film exponent Dr. Sajedul Awal and filmmaker Jaid Aziz as discussants. BSA Director General Liaquat Ali Lucky will preside over the event.
FFSB General Secretary Belayat Hossain Mamun will come up with the introductory discussion, besides conducting speeches at the event.
The event will be concluded with the screening of Tareque Masud-directed documentary ‘Adam Surat’ at 7:30pm.
