Dipa Khandakar to appear in �Jana Ganttabya Ajana Somoy�

Popular model-actress Dipa Khandakar will be seen appearing in a new tele-drama titled Jana Ganttabya Ajana Somoy, directed by her good friend Shanta Rahman and written by Naznin Hasan Chumki. DhakaLive has news that this tele-drama will be aired on Eid-ul-Azha on ATN Bangla.
Dipa Khandakar will play the role of a writer named Rimi. To complete her writing, Rimi goes off to a far away resort. She also has somewhat of a disagreement with her husband Shyamol Mawla about going to the resort. There she also meets an individual called Shahed. The tele-drama will be centred on these three characters.
Regarding her role in the tele-drama, Dipa Khandakar said, The story and my character in it really appealed to me. The shooting has taken place at a resort in Gazipur. Even though Shanta Rahman is a close personal friend, there definitely was no favouritism as far as the work was concerned. I have a positive feeling that among many of the tele-dramas, the viewers will enjoy watching this particular one.
This is the second time that the actress has worked under the direction of her friend Shanta Rahman. About two years ago, she worked in the tele-film Oshumpurna Galpo directed by Shanta Rahman.
To note, today is also a very special day for the actress as she celebrates the first birthday of her daughter Arohi and has made special arrangements for the day to be celebrated at a restaurant in Dhanmondi with husband Shahed Ali Sujon, her son and some very close friends from the media. She has asked everyone for their prayers and well wishes for her daughter.
Recently, the Dipa-acted drama serial titled Mayar Khela, directed by Rulin Rahman, has been concluded on Rtv. Her daily soap on Maasranga titled Dhaka Housewife, directed by Akram Khan and drama serial Dusor Athiti, directed by AD Dulal are regularly being aired. l
