Law Minister Anisul Huq on Tuesday said steps will be taken to make the trial process of the rape incidents speedier, reports UNB.
The minister came up with the statement while exchanging Eid greetings with the journalists at his office in the morning. Mentioning a recent incident when Jakia Sultana Rupa, a resident of Sirajganj, was gang raped on a moving bus, Anisul said the trial process will be started soon after police submit probe report to the court. While asked about the ongoing Rohingya crisis, the minister said the global community should come forward to solve the problem.
