Poet Belal Chy’s health condition now stable

The health condition of eminent poet Belal Chawdhury is stable, reports BSS.

"The health condition of my father is stable now...There was nothing to worry about it," Abdullah Protik Chowdhury, eldest son of the poet, told BSS yesterday afternoon.

"Doctors said he had an infection at stomach. He is now out of danger, but under observation," he said.

He was taken to Anwar Khan Modern Hospital in city's Dhanmondi area on Eid day with stomach complications. Currently, he is undergoing treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the hospital.
