Basketball team to take part in SA tournament

Bangladesh U-16 boys basketball team will participate in the South Asian Under-16 boys Basketball Championship 2017 schedule to take place in Kathmandu, Nepal from September 5- 9. The team will leave Dhaka on September 3.  

Six countries of South Asia have already confirmed their participation in this event while apart from the hosts Nepal, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Pakistan are the other five countries.    

Walton is sponsoring the Bangladesh team tour to participate in the championship. General secretary of the Bangladesh Basketball Federation (BBF) AK Sarker informed all in a press conference yesterday at the Dutch Bangla Bank Auditorium of Bangladesh Olympic Association (BOA).
