University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB) is going to participate in the Red Bull Campus Cricket World Finals, from September 10-16 in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
Eight cricket playing nations are taking part this year to battle it out for the World Championship: University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB), Bangladesh; Business Management School (BMS), Sri Lanka; University of Sydney, Australia; National University of Science & Technology (NUST), Zimbabwe; Marathwada Mitra Mandal College of Commerce (MMCC College), India; Jinnah Government College Nazimabad, Karachi, Pakistan; North-West University (NWU), South Africa; Heriot Watt University, Dubai, UAE.
Bangladesh, Australia, Zimbabwe, India, Pakistan, South Africa, and UAE will arrive in Sri Lanka on September 8 to participate in this tournament which will be held at Galle International Stadium, Colombo, including the final.
Prof Dr. H M Jahirul Haque, vice chancellor, ULAB, stated this at a press briefing on the Dhanmondi campus on Wednesday.
Sarwar Imran, coach, ULAB cricket team, Md. Taufiq Aziz, advisor, Field Sports Club and team manager Anjum Ahmed Jessi an team captain were also present. Alongside, Ariful Hoque, deputy manager, ULAB Communications, Md. Wahiduzzaman, deputy manager (public relations), and other ULAB officials were also present in the press conference.
