‘3-tier security taken for Jatiya Eidgah’

Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) Commissioner Asaduzzaman Miah yesterday said unprecedented measures with 3-tier security have been taken in and around the Jatiya Eidgah, reports UNB.

“We have taken unprecedented security measures in and around the Jatiya Eidgah with placing a large number of uniformed and plain-clothed law enforcers, including police and RAB,” he said after overseeing the security measures taken for Jatiya Eidgah here.

Sufficient numbers of CCTV cameras and archways have been installed in and around the Jatiya Eidgah to make the security foolproof while the dog squads and bomb disposal units will sweep the ground prior to the Eid congregation, he said.
