Two killed in Ctg

CHITTAGONG: Two persons were killed in thunderbolt and road accident in Patiya and Boalkhali upazilas of the district yesterday, reports BSS.

The deceased were identified as day labourer Mohammad Ali, 45, hailed from Pekua upazila of Cox's Bazar district and motorcyclist Helal Uddin, 35, hailed from Patiya upazila of the district.

Police said Ali was critically injured after he was struck by thunderbolt while working on the field at Khorondwip union under Boalkhali upazila of the district around 1 pm.

He was rushed to Upazila Health Complex where the attending doctors declared him dead.
