Neo-JMB’s close accomplice arrested

Police on Tuesday night arrested a close accomplice of the so-called supreme of neo-Jamaatul Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB) from Gazipur district, reports UNB.

The arrested was identified as Al Amin alias Abu Omar, 33, a resident of Tejgaon area in the capital who hailed from Kanil Village of Jamalpur Sadar.

 “We arrested Omar from Bhogra Bypass area under Joydebpur Police Station in a case filed under Anti-Terrorism Act with Savar Police Station around 11 pm on Tuesday,” a police official said.
