Police in a drive arrested an alleged drug-trader with 2,000 pieces of yaba tablets in the city’s Bakolia area yesterday around 3:30am. The arrestee was identified as ---Afzal Hossain Prakash Titu (33), a resident of Arambag area in the capital. Acting on a tip-off, the police personnel searched on a Chittagong bound-bus came from Cox’s Bazar in Shah Amanat Bridge area at around 3:30am yesterday and seized 2,000 pieces of yaba tablets from Titu’s possession, said Mohammad Mohsin, officer-in-charge (OC) of Bakalia police station.
