The Election Commission will sit in talks with Bangladesh Muslim League (BML) and Khelafat Majlish today as part of its ongoing dialogues with different stakeholders to take their opinions over its preparation for the next national election, reports UNB.
“The talks with BML will start at 11am while that with Khelafat Majlish at 3pm on Monday at the Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital city,” said Director (PR) at the EC Secretariat SM Asaduzzaman yesterday.
The Commission initiated its dialogues with 40 registered political parties on Thursday last with talks with Sangskritik Muktijote.
Earlier, the EC held talks with civil society members on July 31, and the media representatives on August 16 and 17.
